Both the Deer Valley and North Mountain locations consisted of specialized custom air handling units with unique configurations, humidification systems, and special filtering requirements for operating room conditions. These units fed multiple operating rooms — present and future. Greenheck is also on display, with everything from Vari-Green fans and Vektor Lab exhaust fans to numerous dampers.

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community completed the new River People Health Center in 2022. Three Smardt 300-ton high-efficiency magnetic bearing chillers cool the facility. Fifteen ABB ULH (Ultra Low Harmonic) VFDs provide variable speed control for chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, and Reymsa cooling tower fans — controlling for optimum efficiency and energy savings.

The $180 million expansion of this property was designed to create a premier entertainment venue. Improvements include additions to the casino, a new hotel tower, a new ballroom, and additions to the restaurant area. ThermAir Systems provided 14 custom air handling units, Metal Fab grease duct, Greenheck make-up air units, and Accurex grease scrubbers for pollution control — one with an electrostatic precipitator.

The tuberculosis HVAC project was completed in 2023 — a highly critical environment requiring specialized containment and airflow control. P&G Manufacturing supplied redundant Bag-in-Bag-Out (BIBO) HEPA filter banks serviceable while the system is in operation. Alliance Air Products provided highly custom 31,000 cfm air handling units with ABB VFD packages. Neptronic supplied integrated outdoor-rated gas-fired steam generators with AHU factory-mounted steam dispersion grids. Greenheck Vektor Lab exhaust fans, general-purpose fans, and critical bubble-tight dampers ensured containment safety.
